Dynamis Scythe!

I have nothing else to post because my internet was out, but I picked up this today. Stage 3 completed.

A couple of things. Turned in items for Stage 3 Scythe.

I finally decided to not be cheap and finish Stage 3 Scythe. I turned everything in on Sunday. I get the stage 3 scythe back next Sunday. I am down to 15 mill 13 of which I currently have "invested", I just need the market to pick back up. So I am going to try and build up my gil stash so I can play the buy low sell high game again.

I wasnt able to do both of the salvage runs on sunday since it was Labor Day weekend and I had a cookout to go to. I have yet to see a lvl 35 drop in salvage, such a bummer. I picked up this.



I am starting to think I shouldnt keep any salvage pieces unless I have the 35 pieces first. Its really starting to hinder my inventory space.

Its not a huge deal because D.body is typically a throw away kirin abj. But I received it via free lot. This is a very nice improvement for my MNK. It is the final improvement I am willing to make to my MNK right now besides Usukane gear.(with exception to lesser sky abj.)

There are a few other upgrades I can do, but I rather not because Im 340 bronze pieces away from having stage 3 complete. After I finish stage 3 I am going to take a break from buying coins so I can expand on my gil supply. I spent 5.5mill on stage 2 and will spend 20.5mill on stage 3. If I can get by with only spending 6k per byne bill, I can get away with spending only 37 mill on stage 4. (which after stage 3 ill already be halfway there) My goal has been to finish stage 4 by myself and find some help with stage 5.

I have been feeling out my role in my new shell. As expected I am pretty much BRDing 95% of the time. I really dont mind as long as I get to work towards the gear I want for my DRK. Playing BRD is super easy for most events so I can just do my job and not worry too much. Its really not too stressful. Only time I dont like being BRD is on Zergs. I have spent a decent amount of gil on my zerg build and I do actually like to use it. If not I will sell everything and in the process it will pay for 1/5th of stage 4..... I cannot wait to get rolling on this relic. I will be sooooooo happy when I finally get stage 4.

I decided to start working on a Catastrophe build. (though I guess it will be at least 4-5 months before I get stage 4 done) 3 of the items I want the most besides J.torque and Ebody are Speed Belt Ares Legs and Aurum Feet. I dont see a way to maximize that build w/o a speed belt. Having a speed belt allows ya to keep Aces Helm and use Aurum feet.

So I think my new list is Apocalypse>Ebody>Speed Belt>Jtorque>Ares Legs>Aurum Sabotans. The nice thing about all those pieces is they can double as useful pieces for other jobs I have, namely WAR.

I was checking out what I could do to boost my STR build a little bit. (I dont know why, I never use /THF anymore) But I saw I could make a very minor improvement. I figured since I had all the gear I wanted from Ampoules and have 40k ampoules left, I would pick this up.



Right now I am missing a few STR upgrades. Cerb Mantle+1 Onyx Cuisses/Ares Legs, Alky Bracelets, Flame Ring, Triumph Earrings. Probably the only ones I will actively go after are the RA/EX ones. N.Body/J.Torque/Ares Body.
